Chippewa Guide is On-Line!Chippewa Guide is On-Line!

Welcome to the new Chippewa Guide web site. Over the next few months the guide will expand to cover local businesses, entertainment, restaurants, and everything else you'll need to make the most of the Chippewa Valley.

We'd also like to introduce you to Chip, the Chippewa Guyde. You'll see him around the site quite a bit, as he guides you to interesting and exciting things to do in the Chippewa Valley.

After quite a lot of work, the second edition of the Chippewa Guide is now officially on-line. As of 5/26, we have upgraded all of the software on this site, as well as the way it looks. There may be a few new bugs introduced at this point, but in the long run these changes will make the site much more flexible. We're out of the testing phase, and would like local businesses to add in their own web pages to the site, using either the free listings or the paid extended listings. Either way, you get a great opportunity to promote your business in the Chippewa Valley.

Also - please add any upcoming events you know of to our events calendar. This will promote your event to anyone who comes to the Chippewa Guide, or uses Google Calendar.

We hope to create opportunities for people and for businesses in the Chippewa Valley by providing a central location for information and events. We're starting small, and will expand our features and content over time. At the moment we're building an on-line directory of businesses and organizations in the Chippewa Valley. We will be adding in a lot of new features over the next few months, including the ability to rate businesses, add your own information, read reviews, find locations on maps, and much more.
