Yo-Dawg
Chicago Hot Dogs, many other kinds of hot dogs, Italian Beef, and gourmet burgers right by the clock tower on the Stout campus. Late Night very limited menu after midnight on weekends.
Location
Had a quick lunch at Yo-Dawg - a quite good Italian Beef that would have been at home in Chicago, along with good basic thin fries. Nice to have a place in the valley to get Chicago hot dogs and related food now that the place in Eau Claire is gone.

Sweetwaters Restaurant
Sweetwaters Restaurant opened on December 20, 1985, offering Eau Claire an innovative approach to dining out with casual, comfortable surroundings.
The menu was designed with every taste and occasion in mind: soup, salad or a sandwich for a casual business lunch to quality steaks, and seafood or a pasta dish for a special dinner.

Jake's Supper Club - Closed
Sad to say - Jakes has closed it's doors.
Located 5 miles north of Menomonie, Wisconsin on beautiful Tainter Lake, Jake's offers a great selection of menu items designed to please the most discriminating tastes. Open 7 nights a week, Jake's also has banquet facilities available that can accommodate up to 250 guests. Jake's is the perfect spot for gatherings large or small! Reservations recommended on weekends.
Location
When we think of old-fashioned Wisconsin "supper club" we think of Jake's. Not much of any way to go wrong here. From the genuine Friday Night Fish Fry to the location and view, to the delightfully silly Tiki Bar in the summer months, Jakes is a great place to go.
Parker's Family Restaurant (formerly Parker's Tuscan Grille)
Parker's Tuscan Grille serves many varied American and Italian entrees in a pleasant but casual atmosphere. The Tuscan Grille is in the former location of the MG. There is also a full-service bar area with a wide assortment of wines and beers.
Note - the restaurant is now called Parker's Family Restaurant, but the food and services are still the same.
Location
Parkers Tuscan Grille is one of the better restaurant choices in the Menomonie area. Although they have not been open very long, their kitchen produces lovely sandwiches and entrees. The service has been slightly erratic on a few visits, but seems to have improved greatly now that they've been open for a while. Chip recommends the Tuscan Grille.

Galloway Grille
Delicious Food
Refreshing Beverages
Historic Atmosphere
Happy Hour 2-5 PM
Location
Galloway Grille is a great cross between a neighborhood bar and a nice sit-down restaurant. They have 12-15 beers on tap (about 10 of which I was happy to drink, which is a lot above average for me).
Very good sandwiches, pasta and steaks, and an assortment of other entrees and appetizers.
The restaurant features a very pleasant, old-fashioned atmosphere, featuring mostly historical photographs of Eau Claire.
Chip Recommends it for a nice, quiet tasty dinner accompanied by a good beer.
