The 7th Annual Blessing of the Animals is open to all members of the community. The worship service is held at First Presbyterian Church. An "animal themed" service each year concludes with the blessing of all animals present for the service. Following the service, Pastor Eric Nielsen is available for individual blessings upon animals. Animals of all types and sizes are welcomed. However, all animals attending must be in a leash, or in a cage, aquarium, or trailer. The service is held outdoors, on the front lawn of the church. Please bring a lawn chair or blanket for use during the service. In case of poor weather, the service will be moved into the fellowship hall of the church; animals will still be welcomed into the building to be a part of the service.
