She has been nominated for five Grammy Awards for her vocal work,[2] and has performed and toured with such top artists as Ray Charles, Ellis Marsalis, Al Jarreau, Anita Baker, Aretha Franklin, Dianne Reeves, Diana Krall, Ramsey Lewis, George Benson, Clark Terry, Herbie Hancock, Terence Blanchard, just to name a few.

One critic described her as "a spell-binding professional, who rivets attention with her glorious, cultivated voice and canny stagecraft".[3] She has performed at Carnegie Hall, Hollywood Bowl, Ellington Jazz Festival, Monterey Jazz Festival, Apollo Theater, Montreux Jazz Festival, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and more.

This concert is part of the Jazz in the Valley Festival.

As their songs unfold, the audience feels the hoof beats of generations of horses moving across vast grasslands and hears the songs of unseen birds on summer mornings.

Sustainable Dunn

Reminder: The next whole group meeting for Sustainable Dunn will be held on Monday, April 7. It is at 7:00 p.m. in the UCC Parlor. Our guest speaker will be Ed Todahl who is the heating plant manager at Stout. He will discuss the burning of coal in the facility and any other questions you may have.

Raina Clark, the Sustainability Coordinator for UW-Stout is planning to come also. You may know that Stout is working on an extensive plan to address environmental concerns at the university. You may want to ask her about some of the plans that are being discussed or worked on.

This is an important meeting. We need to have a good turnout when we invite speakers for your benefit. Plan to come, and bring a friend.
