The Eau Claire County Humane Association will be holding its fifth annual “Better in Show” on February 15, 2008 from 4:00-9:00 p.m. at the Eau Claire Indoor Sports Center in Eau Claire. This casual and fun all-breed pet exposition is the only one of its kind in Western Wisconsin.

Pet owners can enter their animal friends in categories such as “Best Dog Trick,” “Owner–Dog Look-a-likes,” “Most Unusual Cat,” and “Crowd Pleaser.” There are competition categories for dogs, cats, and other pets, such as hamsters, snakes, and rabbits.

In addition to the competitions, there will also be a Silent Auction, including a Green Bay Packers football signed by the entire team, and lots of pet-related items.
